Sweet Mellissa
|
Sweet Mellissa born April 23, 2007. This is a big stout filly who's very correct and showing lots of potential. Her dam is my solid Paint Hollywood White daughter, Hollywood Cremella, dam of the colt listed below. Her sire is Klint Black++, 2005 National Champion Sport Horse Stallion. Mellissa is a smoky black with 4 white socks and you can see her cute face in the picture at 6 days. Smoky black just means she carries the dilute gene, so could end up producing a palomino or buckskin some day. She has shed out dark with some mahogany shading and some rabicano traits or roaning in the flanks and other white marks at her chest and tail head. I'm afraid she might be a little big to rein, but time will tell. She's athletic and classy enough to do that, or western pl., or even go the sport horse route. She's showing her mother's unworried attitude towards new things like flapping plastic while I try for a picture. She's priced at $5500 and is sweepstakes nominated. |

Born
March 14, 2006... what a neat gelding! His
dam is Hollywood Cremella, solid perlino Paint mare
by
Hollywood White (3 time world
champion NRHA reiner) from a tobiano buckskin mare whose pedigree includes
many horses found in the QH Legends books. His sire is the winning racing
Arabian stallion, Cardsharp
(Magus X Savannah Bask) Athletic athletic athletic. He's very solid with
wonderful legs of good substance. Should be taller, as mom is 15 hands
and he's a good size now.
A real powerhouse in a beautiful package. His full sister (Miss Mellie)
has been sold to Canada where she's been started for future reining
competition. She's 3, and will
be a major competitor in reining when the time comes.
He's priced at $6500 now. He's up to date with vaccines
and has been hauled and trimmed. He's going to be my NRHA prospect.
Tons of substance, real nice bone.... has that "grit" you hear about, but
he's good to deal with. Very friendly and respectful towards me, but
won't put up with any bullying from another horse. Sold! Congratulations to Barb Middleton in Alberta, Canada |

Quincys Got The Cue (aka Paris)

I have this very nice palomino registered solid Paint mare that I'm offering for sale. She's 7 years old, 15 hands, fairly dark with only a star. She's got nice big feet and good bone and moves more for what I'd like than maybe the QH types might like for show. She's got a bit of knee motion and really uses her hocks well and brings them up under her. She's bred more for pleasure type than reining, or I'd just keep her, though her maternal grand dam was a World Champion Junior Cutting Horse. She's pleasant to live with, gets along with the other horses. She had a bit over 3 months training summer/fall of 2007. She walks, trots and canters, indoor and outdoor arenas. She foaled a large palomino colt by Darkhist (his first) April 7, 2008. Foal HAS been nominated/paid into sweepstakes. Now that she's foaled (see news page), she's priced at $3500, colt at $2500. This colt is huge and is headed to well over 15 hands. I've added pedigree information and 3 month pictures of colt to her page. click on her name at left. |

Juliette
|
Jules is a 9 year old green broke Desperado V daughter from a Talisman Bey daughter making her line bred Bay El Bey... with another cross to Bay Abi++ further back thru the western pl. champion Bay Enchantress. She's 14.3, solid bay with a pretty head, the Desperado V mop of mane and tail with great feet. I showed her dam in Hunter Pleasure and some Western Pleasure with some success on the A circuit and amateur shows. She was a great horse to trail ride or put my inexperienced husband on. Juliette had a great half arab colt by Hollywood White in 2007 which was sold to Canada at only 3 months of age.. Sweepstakes nominated. She's been working really well with an unspoiled attitude. She does not try to avoid her lessons at all. I go along introducing things in very small steps and its working very well. She's not being generally advertised yet, as I've not made a current video of her... but will soon. Click on her name for more details. |
